Its author, Joan Gray, says there are two kinds of congregations, those who row the boat and those who sail the boat. Spiritual Leadership for Church Officers helps leaders to discern and catch the wind (the Holy Spirit, of course) in the church's sails by making decisions on what God wants for the church, and God's will for the world.
