Sometimes, I read daily devotions or other motivational books and eventually stop reading them -- This book is not like that! It "hits the spot" when I need an instant mood change or something to pick me up out of the doldrums...or just when I need a different perspective at the end of a day. Sometimes, I read several entries at a time. I often share pertinent insights from this book with friends, and I am convinced that some of the gems of wisdom from this book are single-handedly pulling one of my friends out of a mid-life crisis. This author is truly blessed with the ability to touch the common with the divine. And this book leads the reader(if they are ready)on the first steps of a wonderful journey where one can lovingly let go of what is holding us back from being who we really are.In that discovery we can find out the answers to those elusive questions,"Who am I?" "What am I here for?" Believe me this journey can be a little confronting in the beginning and if one is not ready to let go of one's garbage I can see where some people may react negatively. I was so impressed with the results in my life, I hired the author to come up to our company and do the two day workshop with all our staff. It was the best thing we could have done. Bringers of the Light ReviewThis wonderful little book seems to have almost been kept a secret in comparison to the "With God" series, but it is certainly worth the read. I've read it twice, the first time just to get the basics of what it is saying, the second time to do the exercises in it. It's a lovely book for anyone interested in discovering for himself or herself a very personal view of "Right Livelihood" and the way to it. It is for anyone SERIOUSLY interested in conscious participation in one's own transformation and inner spiritual work. It makes you come face to face with your "stuff", so to speak. This book is a nugget of gold, written as if Neale Donald Walsch is sitting with you in a one on one session. This is one of the most enjoyable books that gets right to the point that I have read in the "New Thought" genre. Thanks, Neale, for having this "Conversation With Me"!Bringers of the Light Overview
