A Gift of Roses ReviewWhen someone finds that they have a gift for receiving wisdom and guidance from a higher power it can be all too easy to accept what is given without question. In this book Barbara not only explains how she intently questions the validity of the truth and wisdom of her spirit guides, as well as questioning their true identity, but she also describes her long battle with her own faith and spiritual beliefs which the whole process precipitated. It's a fascinating read.
Along with this she interweaves a disarmingly truthful account of her life's journey and, in doing so, implicitly sets the tone of her book which, to me, is one of genuineness and truthfulness. Her writing constantly reassures the reader of an openness which is altogether captivating and in so doing she offers the words of wisdom, guidance and love which come through her gift of automatic writing in this same ambience.
Barbara's special offering, in this wonderful book, is to invite the reader into her most intimate world where she shares her heart in the same manner as she would with a treasured friend. While freely revealing her life in such an open manner all she asks in return is that the reader accept her gift of the precious wisdom and guidance which she has received as being tested and true and of inestimable value to anyone who seeks greater awareness on their own spiritual journey.
