Calvin's balance of both Augustinian and Athanasian influences combine with fresh insights.
I am most impressed with Calvin's strong Christocentric persepctive on the larger issues of biblical hermeneutics. The theological phrase "Union with Christ" is a much more dynamic term than "predestinated!" I heartily recommend this book to all who wish to broaden their viewpoint on John Calvin's spiritual genius.
