(But if you're reading this after Xmas 2011, you're gold). Two: How mean can one be to talk about Spocky the Snowman and not have a pattern or at least some sort of stick-figure drawing. Cruel.That said, this small self-help guide for de-stressing the holidays is very well organized, very personable, and very down to earth. Laurie, in her typical blunt, honest style has no problems laying it out for you: don't stress it.
I don't want to give anything away about the advice within, but let me just say this: some of it you'll say "Duh, I knew that" but it NEVER hurts to be told again. Some of it you'll go "Oohhhhhh, great idea!"
Pay attention. This isn't a book to glorify the author or make herself feel important. This is from-the-heart, let-me-tell-you-girlfriend(or guyfriend), in-your-face from one friend to another advice.
